Baseball For All Captains 2023 Application

Baseball For All Captains are a handpicked group of high school-aged girls in baseball from around the U.S. who have been selected based on their vision, drive, and experience to help shape the future of girls baseball. Throughout the year, these Captains will have the opportunity to hone specific leadership and baseball skills, learning from other inspiring leaders in baseball—and discuss ways they can build girls baseball in their own communities. Each Captain will have the opportunity to mentor a Baseball For All Junior Captain, and will complete her own project to encourage, inspire, and create opportunities for other girls in baseball.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

– Must be a current high school student

– Must be currently playing baseball (high school team, select team, or BFA team)

– Must have participated in at least one Baseball For All event in the past (Nationals, regional tournaments, traveling teams, clinics, international programs, etc.) 

– Must be able to commit to one full term of the program: May 2023– October 2023

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

– Mentor a BFA Junior Captain and help oversee and assist with their project

– Plan, develop, and execute one independent project related to girls in baseball

– Commit to a once-a-month call video meeting with all BFA Captains

– Provide creative input for various aspects of Baseball For All

– Participate in Captains-focused social media & media initiatives
