Baseball For All Junior Coach Program

As part of our mission to provide girls with access to opportunities to play, coach, and lead in baseball, we are proud to present the BFA Junior Coach Program. Girls ages 13-18 are welcome to partake in certification courses to help them create a solid foundation and philosophy to pursue future coaching opportunities.

These courses are led by Coach Rachelle “Rocky” Henley, an original member of the Colorado Silver Bullets, a co-founder of both the San Francisco Bay Sox Girls’ Baseball Program and Evolution Girls’ Baseball, and a seasoned baseball coach who has worked with youth in baseball for more than 25 years.

This online certification program is required for all players who are interested in coaching at Baseball For All events, including, but not limited to Baseball For All Nationals, any BFA Ambassador Program trips, and clinics.

The next BFA Junior Coach program certification will take place on May 11 and June 1, 2026. Please note that attendance at both virtual sessions are required in order to complete the certification and be eligible to coach at BFA Nationals 2026.
Participation in the BFA Junior Coach Program includes:
– Live, online certification courses
– Trusted online courses to recognize, ensure, and prioritize player safety
– A BFA Junior Coach t-shirt
– Tournament-wide recognition at BFA Nationals
– Access to opportunities to coach at future BFA events

Note: This is a one-time certification. Any players who have already completed the BFA Junior Coach Certification as part of the BFA Ambassador Program to Hawaii do not need to retake the course.
Junior Coaches must be at least three (3) years older than the age division they will be coaching. (e.g. If the Junior Coach would like to coach in the 14U division, she must be at least 17 years old in order to do so.)
