BFA Title IX Invitational
In honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, Baseball For All is proud to host the Title IX Invitational: a historic celebration of the progress girls in baseball for the past 50 years. This two-day event is hosted in partnership with 78 Youth Sports and the City of Hoboken, and will honor legendary trailblazers like Maria Pepe who have helped to ensure that girls have a legal right to play baseball in the United States.
On Saturday, June 25, Baseball For All will co-host a girls’ baseball clinic for players ages 5–10 in Brooklyn in partnership with 78 Youth Sports. All girls of all skill levels are invited to participate in this three-hour clinic, coached by high school-aged women in baseball from the greater New York area, and hear from Baseball For All founder, Justine Siegal, about the future of baseball for girls.
Click HERE to register for this all girls’ baseball clinic on Saturday, June 25. All players will receive instruction from women in baseball, hear from trailblazing founder, Justine Siegal, and receive a Baseball For All t-shirt with their registration.
On June 26, Baseball For All is once again proud to partner with the City of Hoboken to host a girls’ baseball event at the historic Hoboken Little League fields. Three local 12U girls’ baseball teams from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania will be competing in a one-day tournament to honor the trailblazing women from the era of Title IX who have made it possible for them to do so—including Maria Pepe. Opening Ceremonies will welcome Maria and the women who tried her case from the National Organization of Women to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX.
